Beelink SER8 8845HS gaming office design Mini PC

The mini PC packs the AMD Ryzen 7 8845HS, a very capable CPU with 8 cores and 16 threads. it has two operational modes that users can choose from. The first one is called "balanced mode," which puts the Ryzen 7 processor at 54-watt mode for quiet and efficient computing. As for the second one, it's called "performance mode," and it puts the CPU at 65-watt mode for full-on performance.

The SER8 has a "non-porous" design on the top and the side for efficient airflow. The mini PC also has a "high-density breathable" metal mesh, which aims to prevent dust accumulation inside the computer.

As for the cooling setup, Beelink SER8 sports a new air duct design that's combined with the MSC2.0-VC vapor chamber. The company says that it can ensure a stable 65-watt operation during load. This cooling solution also aims to keep the processor temperature below 80 degrees Celsius (176 degrees Fahrenheit).

Other than that, the mini PC comes with a good number of connectivity ports. The front has one 10 Gbps Type-C and one USB 3.2. On the back, the SER8 has a 40 Gbps USB4, which brings support for eGPU. But it would've been good to see an OCuLink port instead, as the external GPU performance drop is reasonably lower with it.

The other ports on the back include three USB Type-A, one DP 1.4 with 4K 144 Hz display output support, one 2.5G Ethernet, and one HDMI 2.1.
